Sustainability
As a family business the next generation is naturally very important to us, and we do our utmost to make our business as clean and as efficient as possible. From the boards we use to how we recycle our waste, we are always looking for ways to improve.
Our Materials
​We work with Egger and Duropal for our boards and laminate worktops both of which are dedicated to Sustainable Forest Management. They both hold FSC and PEFC certificates.
Our Waste Management
Naturally; cutting boards produces waste and we are passionate about reducing this wherever possible and where waste is a given we recycle it. Our factory is fitted with a state of the art extraction system and a 50 cubic metre silo which feeds into a Biomass boiler to heat our factory.
Our Solar Investment
In 2023 we added Solar Power to our eco initiative, we worked closely with a local company to design the most effective way to utilise the factory roof. After alot of investment both time wise and monetary, all we had to do was wait for the UK weather to play ball.
Our Solar panels generate 86 kw, enough for us to power the entire factory on a nice summers day!
Last year 40% of our energy usage was generated by our solar panels.

We prioritize sustainability by sourcing directly from environmentally conscious brands like BLUM and INOXA. These manufacturers are committed to eco-friendly practices, collaborating with ISO 14000 certified companies and holding numerous environmental and energy certifications. This ensures that our products not only meet high-quality standards but also contribute to a healthier planet.
